2025年12月18日 第365回通常例会報告/365th Regular Meeting
12/18の例会はKさんの入会式で幕を開けました。熱く入会の決意を語ってくださったkさん、これからの活躍に期待しています！
さて、この日はTM Tの進行で、角筈地域センター調理室でおこなわれました。
英語スピーチ1人目はTM KによるAI依存を考えさせられるようなスピーチ、TM Pによるコメントを含め、深く私たちにスマホやAIとの付き合い方を考えさせられるようなスピーチでした。
英語スピーチ二つ目はサンタのコスチュームに身を包んだTM Oによる、これもまた非常に洞察に富んだ、素晴らしいスピーチでした。コミュニケーションにおいてはシンプルにわかりやすく伝えることが重要であるが、それがいかに難しいかを語ってくださいました。スピーチは大変わかりやすく、メッセージもよく伝わった素晴らしい物でしたが、TM Wが、クラブスピーチでは個人の経験を入れることでより、スピーチがプレゼンテーションではなく、親身なものに感じられるとコメントされ、全員、なるほど、と深くうなづきました。
続くTTセッションではTTマスターのTM Wが多くのゲストを指名して、ゲストも参加した楽しいセッションとなりました。
休憩後の日本語セッションでは、TM Sによる、準備スピーチ「迷ったらゴー！」で幕を開け、
楽しく、パワフルかつ愛に溢れたスピーチで会場は大喝采となりました。
例会終盤の投票の結果、ベストスピーカーはTM S、ベスト論評はTM W、そしてベストTTはゲストのTM N。
この日は少し早めに閉会し、サンタ、トナカイに扮したメンバーやゲストがスナックやコーヒー、ブドウジュース、手作りジャムの載った美味しいカナッペなどを残り時間で楽しむ、たのしい会となりました。
多くのゲストの皆様、ご参加どうもありがとうございました。またお目にかかれるのを楽しみにしています！

Meeting Report – December 18
Our December 18 meeting began with the induction of TM K. He spoke warmly about his decision to join the club, and we look forward to his future contributions.
The meeting, led by Toastmaster of the Day TM T, was held in the cooking studio at the Tsunohazu Community Center.
The first English prepared speech was delivered by TM K and focused on our growing dependence on AI. Together with the evaluation from TM P, it encouraged us to think carefully about how we use smartphones and AI in daily life.
The second English speech was given by TM O, who appeared in a Santa costume. He spoke about the importance—and difficulty—of keeping communication simple and clear. Although the speech was easy to understand and very engaging, TM W suggested that adding more personal experience can make a club speech feel even warmer and more relatable. Everyone agreed with this helpful advice.
The Table Topics session that followed, led by TT Master TM W, was lively and enjoyable, with many guests taking part.
After the break, the Japanese session opened with TM S’s prepared speech titled “If You’re Unsure, Go for It!” His energetic and heartfelt message filled the room and received great applause.
In the voting at the end of the meeting, Best Speaker went to TM S, Best Evaluator to TM W, and Best Table Topics to guest TM N.
We closed the meeting a little earlier than usual and spent the remaining time enjoying snacks, coffee, grape juice, and canapés topped with homemade jam. Members and guests dressed as Santa and reindeer added to the festive mood, making it a very pleasant gathering.
