ベテラン会員のTM HKさんが新しくなったパスウェイズの説明をしてくださいました。
パスウェイズが新しくなってから使ったことがない人が多い当クラブにおいて、多くの人が聞きたかったテーマです。
実際の画面を映しながらの説明がわかりやすく、2WAYでのコミュニケーションを意識したスピーチスタイルは聴衆を飽きさせずに惹きつける模範的なものでした。
このスピーチをきっかけにパスウェイズを使う人が増えることでしょう。

最近暑さランキングNo.1の座を逸した熊谷出身のTM GKがおすすめする最良の納涼の方法は「そうめん」。お母さんのそうめんと違って、奥さんのそうめんは固茹でで、ラーメンのバリカタと似ていて大好き！だそう。
質問2: 熱に浮かさせることはありますか？（本当の熱でも、恋でもOK！）

高校生の時に初めて熱中症にかかった。浅田真央と羽生結弦の動画を見て、頑張っている姿に涙が出て熱に浮かされた。最近は本当に暑いのと、今初めてのスピーチで浮かされている。ラーメン好きなので、ラーメン熱に浮かされないよう気をつけます！とのこと。
質問3: 肝を冷やした体験はありますか？

今、肝を冷やしながら、スピーチを考えています、とおっしゃりながらも、趣味のトレイルランニングをテーマに整然としたスピーチを展開。クマが木に残した痕跡であるクマ剥ぎを見つけては肝を冷やし、足を滑らして滑落しそうになっては肝を冷やしながらも、１週間もすればまたトレイルランニングに行きたくなるそうです。

もう少し聞きたかった点：
・ベテランTMの情報力で、パスの数が変わった背景を知っていたら、内容に盛り込んでもらえたらより良かった

Speaker : TM TO
Speech Title: Ice Breaker
Summary of Speech:
It was TM TO’s very first speech.
TM TO is an IT Security Manager, and his age and body measurements are a secret. His charming point is his physically large, broad build, with a belly full of happiness. His hobby is raising Japanese rice fish (medaka).
His purpose for joining the club is growth, to be able to deliver influential speeches, and—since joining Toastmasters is one of his KPIs—to achieve that target and get a salary raise. His goals are to contribute to club activity events, improve his speech skills, and, of course, increase his salary.

She pointed out the following three good points in her evaluation, summarized the content of the speech, and also asked the speaker a question to clarify an important point that had been unclear.
Good points:
-Explained the structure of the speech at the beginning (consisting of three themes: self-introduction, purposes of joining, and goals)
-Added a lot of humor throughout the speech
-Provided information that was valuable to us (knowing the purposes and goals of a new member is very important to us)

In evaluations, it is common to mention both strengths and areas for improvement. However, in this case, I think it was a good choice to deliberately focus only on the positive aspects. This is because the most important thing in a first speech is to boost the speaker’s motivation. Her evaluation achieved that beautifully.
In addition, summarizing and organizing the content in her evaluation helped the audience’s understanding. Furthermore, asking the speaker a question to confirm an important point that had been difficult to catch was beneficial for both the speaker and the audience.
